Ruptly is providing live feed of the planet Mercury making a rare transit across the surface of the sun on Monday, November 11, from various positions across the globe including the Teide and Roque de los Muchachos Observatories in Spain.

The phenomenon that occurs only 13 times in a century will take place from 12:34 to 18:04 GMT and will last about 5 hours and 29 minutes.

The transit will be visible in the Americas, Europe, Africa and western Asia, the next Mercury transit won’t happen until 2032 and 2039.​
