IOC’s president Thomas Bach holds press conference following third and final day of meeting in Lausanne

Switzerland, Lausanne

International Olympic Committee’s President Thomas Bach is talking to the press on Wednesday, December 4 following second day of the IOC Executive Board Meeting in Lausanne.

During the three-day-meeting, the board was expected to deliver reports of the upcoming Olympic Games and various IOC commissions, as well as updates on the activities of the IOC administration.

The alleged doping violations by Russia have also been the focus of previous executive board meetings. Recently the IOC demanded “toughest sanctions” against those responsible for deleting Russian doping tests in the data given from the Moscow Laboratory to the World Anti-doping agency (WADA), but left the door opened for clean Russian athletes to compete at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
