Slovakia: Finland & Russia coaches reflect on world champs semi-final clash

The head coaches of the Russia and Finland ice hockey teams held a news conference in Bratislava on Saturday after their semi-final game. Finland beat Russia 1-0 in a surprise win against the team that many considered the pre-tournament favourite.

"What can we do, it was a one-goal game and, unfortunately, it was not us who scored it," said Russia head coach Ilya Vorobyov at the news conference.

Finland’s coach Jukka Jalonen said his team is not going to rest on its laurels. "I think it's not enough for that team. We want to win one more game tomorrow and we have started to prepare for that."

Finland will play against the winner of the Canada v. Czech Republic match in the final. Russia will compete for third place. Both games will take place on Sunday.
