SOT, Jonathan Marchessault, Canadian forward: "I think Czech was really good today. They played well. I think we played a good game defensively, didn't give them much, and all the chances they have, [Canadian goalkeeper Matt] Murray was awesome. And I mean Finland, they proved a lot in that tournament, they proved that you don't need any superstars to be able to get to the finals - and it's all their credit. And they have a really good team. We are going to have to be ready for them."

SOT, Kyle Turris, Canadian captain: "I mean the game today was tough. Murray played great, I think we had a good team effort. Yeah, like you said, the Finns beat a really good Russian team, a really good Swedish team, and they beat us [in] the first game of the tournament. So it's going to be a tough game tomorrow."

SOT, Kyle Turris, Canadian captain: "I mean anything can happen when the game is tough. Swiss played us really well - it was a good game, we stuck with it as a team till the end, and that's what we needed to do. You know, today we had a very good team effort too, and that's what we going to need tomorrow."

SOT, Radek Faksa, Czech forward: "We gave them too much odd-man rush, they executed really well. It's cannot happen against team like that. We had some chances we didn't score. We needed just one goal to get going - we didn't score, just lately in the game, and that was too late already."

SOT, Radek Faksa, Czech forward [English]: "We came here to win a medal, and we still got a chance, you know. So we have to prepare for tomorrow. We have to play better than tonight."

M/S Czech defenseman Radko Gudas speaking to press

SOT, Radko Gudas, Czech defenseman: "Chances are 50/50. We want to turn the page and regenerate as much as we can and go at ir with a chin up. Because I think we played a pretty good game. Unfortunately, they capitalised on every scoring chance they had. So it was a little too cruel for us, but that's what hockey is. And we wan to turn the page and get ready for tomorrow."
