Matt Cogar was crowned the STIHL Timbersports Champion 2019 at Tjoloholm Castle near the Swedish city of Gothenburg on Saturday.

The American came out on top in a number of relay challenges, involving wood-cutting, sawing and axing.

After being awarded the gold medal, Cogar described the win as a "great feeling" in an interview.

The runner up was Australian Laurence O'Toole and last year's champion, the Canadian Stirling Hart, finished in third place.
