Iran: Iranians more hopeful than six months ago, says RouhaniJune 12, 2019 at 11:58 (GMT) · Published
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said US pressure on Iran would lose its capacity and that Iranian people were more hopeful about the country's future "in comparison with six months ago and one year ago," during a cabinet meeting in Tehran on Wednesday.
"Today our people have better tranquility in comparison to six months ago and one year ago. Today Iranian people are more hopeful about the country's future in comparison with six months ago and one year ago," Rouhani said.
The Iranian President also said that US sanctions against the country would eventually "lose their yield."
"What Americans are doing today against Iran is undeniably an obvious example of economic terrorism," Rouhani added.
