Nine people were killed and 12 were reportedly left injured, after a suicide bomb attack in Jalalabad targeted Afghan police forces on Thursday.
Attaullah Khogyani, spokesperson for the governor of Nangarhar province, confirmed that explosives were detonated near an Afghan police vehicle in a residential area at 16:00 local time (11:30 GMT).
One man injured in the attack told Ruptly: “There were several killed and injured including police. When I got injured I couldn't feel anything else."
