USA: Protesters gather in Orlando as Trump kicks off re-election campaign nearby

Hundreds of anti-Trump protesters gathered on the streets of Orlando, Florida on Tuesday, as the US President officially kicked off his 2020 re-election campaign in the city.

Protesters can be seen cheering as they listen to various speakers on stage, as well as carrying placards, banners, and flying a giant Trump balloon depicting the US President as a large orange baby.

One protester spoke on stage about Trump's alleged "slashing and squeezing" of Medicaid funding, "ending many disability services and removing safeguards for the most vulnerable communities, that, let's face it, are easy targets for him."

Trump's first 2020 reelection campaign rally took place at Orlando's Amway Center arena.
