Germany: Kroos says German team 'haven't reached our limit' ahead of Netherlands clash

Germany, Hamburg
September 05, 2019 at 19:47 GMT +00:00 · Published

German men's national team midfielder Tony Kroos said that his team "haven’t reached our limit" yet ahead of their upcoming clash against the Netherlands in the EURO 2020 qualifiers in Hamburg on Thursday.

Kroos did also however warn that "the Netherlands have improved a lot," at the press conference where he was joined by coach Joachim Low.

Germany are seeking to re-establish themselves as a footballing superpower on the international stage after enduring a woeful World Cup campaign in Russia last year.

Northern Ireland are currently leading Group C with victories against Estonia and Belarus while Germany are second with nine points from their past three games, leaving the Netherlands in the third position with three points but a game in hand.
