Serbia: Portugal and Serbia hold training sessions ahead Euro qualifiers

The Serbian and Portuguese national football teams held training sessions in Belgrade and Stara Pazova on Friday, ahead of their UEFA Euro 2020 qualification match.

"We are aware of the fact that Serbian players have good skills and good quality. We know they changed the manager recently so we expect a little bit of a different game. We know they like to use counterattack, just like us. We won't have some big changes in strategy for this game. However, this game is very important for us and for Serbia too, considering that both of us lost some points in the past," said Portugal Manager Fernando Santos.

"We will try to fulfil our manager's requests in the game and we are all focus towards the same goal and that is: Serbia must achieve good result. That's the only thing that matters and we will try to do it by team-play," stated Serbian forward player Dusan Tadic.

During the press conference, both teams admitted that tomorrow's game will be tough considering the quality of Serbia's national team, as well as reigning European Champion Portugal, and that both teams have lost games in the past.

The kick off between Serbia and Portugal is set for 20:45 local time (18.45 GMT) on Saturday at the Red Star's Rajko Mitic stadium in Belgrade.
