SOT, Fernando Santos, Portugal Coach (Portuguese): "We had problems in the first half defending from Serbia's attacks, which is undoubtedly a good team. Unlike the first game we played in Lisbon against Serbia when it ended in a draw, this time we were less vulnerable and had more control over the ball. We tried to control and attack the Serbian players who played in defence. This time, Serbian midfielders did a great job but we succeeded to get good results with better ball control." *LOOSE TRANSLATION*

SOT, Ljubisa Tumbakovic, Serbia Coach (Serbian): "Portugal is an excellent team with extraordinary individuals. It's [not] only Ronaldo or Bernardo Silva but everybody. If you see their substitutions it is clear that they have great players not only among the first 11 players but the whole team is great. They won deservedly. Perhaps, we could 've had better results if the game went in a different direction, if we hadn't got the goal in the first half. But it's all in a domain 'could've shoudl've'. Hats off to Portugal. They came, they won and most probably they will continue in the next phase."
