Tyson Fury KOs crowd with side-splitting Spanish response to Mexican media

British boxer Tyson Fury had the crowd in stitches at his pre-fight presser in Las Vegas on Wednesday after a Mexican reporter asked him a question 'en Espanol.'

"You are learning Spanish so my questions will be in Spanish," the reporter warned Fury.

"Mr. King of the Gypsies, how do you feel that on Mexican Independence Day, an Englishman shows up - we saw yesterday the Mexican flag, the king's music, you said 'con dinero, sin dinero' - I'm sorry I keep talking so...," the reporter began in Spanish before being cut off by a bemused translator.

Fury took it in his stride, however, and delivered a one-liner which cracked up the crowd.

"Yes, I am the Gypsy King, 'El Rey Gitanos', it is a privilege to be boxing on Mexican independence weekend, I'm going to put on a fantastic show and yes, I do love big cuddly toys and crayons and I do like being tickled, yes," he joked.

Speaking earlier in the conference, Fury had said he would not underestimate his rival Otto Wallin.

Fury (28-0-1, 20 KOs) said he would give his Swedish opponent the "ultimate respect" on Saturday night, filling the Sin City fight night held annually on Mexican Independence Day weekend.

"The tallness and the southpaw and he's a defensive fighter. That always is a challenge, but I never met a challenger that I could not defeat, I never met a mountain I could not climb, I never met a man I could not beat. So he's going to be no exception."

Wallin (20-0, 13 KOs) promised to deliver an upset, despite lacking the bookies' confidence. Tyson Fury and Otto Wallin spoke to the press ahead of their September 14 fight in MGM grand, Las Vegas on Wednesday.
