UK: Nigel Farage fights the Brexit fight in boxing club

United Kingdom, Bolsover
November 05, 2019 at 18:06 GMT +00:00 · Published

Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage came out fighting on Tuesday, as his election campaign began in earnest at Bolsover boxing club on Tuesday.

He started his speech by attack Labour's campaign in the party's heartlands: the North of England. He theorised that Labour will offer "another referendum because they think you're so stupid that you need to vote again," and insisted that democracy was at the heart of the Brexit party's ethos.

"And of as the leader of the only party that actually believes in Brexit, I know that without the Brexit party, we will not get a genuine Brexit," he added.

Farage insisted that it didn't matter if supporters were Labour or Conservative, saying their wish to leave the European Union should be a uniting factor.

Though he will personally not run for a seat in the election on December 12, his proposed Brexit alliance was rejected by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson last week.
