Leading members of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) have convened on Thursday morning for the closed Executive Committee (ExCo) and Foundation Board meeting in Katowice, Poland, on the final day of the organisation's 5th World Conference on Doping in Sport.

Footage shows arrivals of WADA President Sir Craig Reedie, WADA Director General Olivier Niggli, as well as New Zealand skeleton racer and newly-elected head of WADA Athlete Committee Ben Sandford, among others.

After two days of detailed discussions and interventions from a large number of WADA stakeholders, the Executive Committee is expected to approve the new International standards, related to anti-doping. The Foundation Board is also expected to approve the revised World Anti-Doping Code, which will come into effect in 2021.

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) fifth World Conference on Doping in Sport kicked off in Katowice on November 5. On the final day of the conference, the WADA members are set to elect new President and Vice-President for the agency.

Acting Polish Minister of Sports Witold Banka will replace Sir Craig Reedie as the agency's president starting from 2020, while former Chinese speed skating world champion Yang Yang will become Vice-President of the global anti-doping watchdog.
