USA: Wilder and Ortiz arrive at MGM Grand ahead of rematch

United States, Las Vegas

Heavyweight boxers Deontay Wilder and Luis Ortiz arrived at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Tuesday, ahead of their WBC title clash.

Both fighters were welcomed by a crowd in the venue before they posed on stage and answered a few questions.

Deontay said that to "feel the bone structure of someone's face in my fist" is an "exciting" feeling.

"When people come to see the heavyweights, they want to see knockouts. I understand, you know, skill is set in place, will is set in place, but when you come to see the big boys, they want to see someone get knocked out and I think I do that very well, and I'm looking to do that come Saturday," he added.

His opponent, Luis Ortiz, said that "God does not give an opportunity twice to everyone, and for some reason, I'm here again and I will take this opportunity."

At their previous fight in Brooklyn, 2.01m Wilder stopped Ortiz in the tenth round by TKO, marking the Cuban's first, and only, professional defeat.

Wilder, boxing's longest reigning champion, was shaken badly in the last bout and had to fight back to secure victory and remain undefeated.

The pair will go toe-to-toe on Saturday, November 23rd at the MGM, with over a million viewers expected in the US alone.
