Algeria: Trial of Bouteflika-linked officials postponed in Algiers
The trial of officials and businessmen accused of corruption and associated to former Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika was postponed to December 4 by an Algiers court, Monday.
The defendants' lawyers boycotted the process, saying conditions for a trial had not been met.
The officials, including former prime ministers Ahmed Ouyahia and Abdelmalek Sellal, are being prosecuted on charges of embezzlement of public funds and abuse of power.
