UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson took questions from MPs for the first time since the United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union, at the House of Commons in London on Wednesday.

Opposition Leader Jeremy Corbyn accused the Prime Minister of "shutting newspapers out of number 10", referring to Johnson's attempts to exclude a number of British political reporters from an official briefing on Monday.

"I'm a journalist, I love journalism," Johnson hit back.

Corbyn also attacked the current governmental policies for "not facing up the to climate emergency" and "not taking the action necessary to turn Glasgow into the turning point" referring to the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference that will be held in Glasgow in November 2020.

Johnson was also attacked by multiple members of the Scottish National Party during the PMQs. He was accused of "intentionally trying to impersonate Donald Trump" with regards to his treatment of the press by SNP MP Ian Blackford. Mr. Blackford also accused the Prime Minister of ignoring "poll after poll showing support for Scottish independence."

Boris Johnson's rebuttal included an accusation to the SNP of wanting to "break up the most successful political partnership of the last 300 years" along as accusing one SNP MP of having a "conspiratorial frame of mind."
