Brasil, Brasilia
13 noviembre 2019 a las 21:46 GMT +00:00 · Publicado

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Rybakov commented about the attacks on the Venezuelan embassy in Brasilia, in an exclusive interview with RT in Brasilia on Wednesday.

Rybakov outlined Moscow's concerns about the last attacks on the embassy, stressing the importance of protection of diplomatic missions by the hosting countries.

The deputy foreign minister noted that the hosting country is "obliged to observe and act accordingly" with international agreements.

About the synchronization of the attacks with the BRICS summit, Rybakov answered, “It just shows how those, who believe in the rightness of their course, which is a legitimate one in our view, how they use and abuse every opportunity to pursue their goals."

Venezuela has been in a political crisis since January 23, when Guaido, who is president of the opposition-controlled Venezuelan National Assembly, declared himself interim president in a move now recognized by over 50 countries including the United States, the European Union, and Brazil.
